Carol Powell OTR/L
The one who started it all
Carol Powell is the heart and soul of our clinic, bringing over 20 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience to the team. With a background that spans home treatment, clinic settings, and school systems, Carol has dedicated her career to helping children thrive. Her passion for pediatric therapy is deeply personal; her son, Jeremy, was born with CHARGE syndrome and severe physical limitations. The support of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapies has played a pivotal role in his journey toward independence.
Carol’s personal experiences have shaped her into an empathetic and understanding provider. She recognizes the challenges faced by parents and children, which fuels her commitment to creating a supportive and nurturing environment. Her vision was to build a clinic that serves as a haven for uniquely-abled children, where they can feel valued and empowered.
